University of Kansas

Founded by determined New Englanders who had emigrated to Kansas Territory, the University of Kansas opened its doors September 12, 1866, becoming the first university of the Great Plains.

The surrounding community embraces this university and offers countless activities to explore, from the downtown arts, music and shopping scene to great outdoor adventures like windsurfing at Clinton Lake.
Lawrence

The Consortium of College and University Media Centers, is a dynamic organization whose mission is to provide leadership and a forum for information exchange. Our members are the providers of media and technology support for quality teaching and learning at higher education institutions. The over 750 members represent all sizes of institutions in higher education that provide media/instructional technology-related support services, as well as companies providing related products. -CCUMC.ORG
